10) NITI Aayog, in collaboration with World Resources Institute (WRI), India, launched the country’s first national electric freight platform – e-FAST India (Electric Freight Accelerator for Sustainable Transport – India).
➨It will help strengthen partnerships and identify and support innovative freight solutions.
11) Indian boxer Birju Sah, who won bronze medals at the Commonwealth and Asian Games in 1994, died in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He was 48.
➨ Birju Sah, born in 1974, was the first Indian boxer to win medals at both Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.
12) Australia captain Aaron Finch announced retirement from one-day international (ODI) cricket.
13) World Suicide Prevention Day is celebrated every year on 10th September to raise awareness about suicide prevention worldwide.

14) The former President of the United States Barack Obama won Emmy Award for his narration in the Netflix documentary “Our Great National Parks”.
15) Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Army have successfully completed six flight tests of Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) system from Integrated Test Range (ITR) Chandipur off the Odisha coast.

16) World Students’ Day is celebrated every year on October 15 to mark the birth anniversary of former President APJ Abdul Kalam.
