Age Limit

• Age cutoff: 1 July 2026
• Most trades: 18 to 23 years
• Selected Warrant Officer posts: 18 to 25 years
• Engineer Equipment Mechanic: 18 to 30 years
• SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
• OBC relaxation: 3 years
• Ex-servicemen: Relaxation after deduction of military service as stated in the official notice

Eligibility & Qualification

• Citizenship and gender: Male Indian citizens only
• School qualification: Class 10 or 10+2, depending on the selected trade
• Technical qualification: Relevant ITI certificate, diploma, degree, trade certificate or prescribed experience is required for technical posts
• Domicile: A valid domicile or permanent resident certificate is required for the state or UT selected in the application
• Physical disability category: Candidates in the physically handicapped category are not eligible under this notice

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: Pay scale and allowances applicable to Assam Rifles personnel; the notice does not give a post-wise amount
• Job location: Assam Rifles service; recruitment rally centres at Jorhat or Diphu, Assam

Selection Process

1. RFID registration and initial document verification
2. Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test
3. Computer Based Test of 100 marks
4. Trade or skill test
5. Final document verification
6. Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination, where required
