Eligibility & Qualification

• Degree: Four-year Bachelor in Fisheries Science from an ICAR-recognised agricultural university's fisheries college.
• Qualification cutoff: Required qualification documents must be issued by 23 October 2026.
• Reservation: Bihar benefits are restricted to eligible permanent residents; other-state applicants cannot claim these benefits.
• Experience weightage: Only qualifying contractual service in the specified government Fishery Extension Officer/equivalent role counts, subject to the prescribed certificate and 24 September 2026 cutoff.

Selection Process

1. Take the two-hour CBT and meet the 30% qualifying requirement.
2. Merit combines 75% CBT weight with eligible experience: 5 marks per year, up to 25.
3. Produce the required qualification, category and experience records for verification.
