Eligibility & Qualification
- Project Associate I: Codes 8701–8708 cover specified physics, chemistry, botany, life sciences, engineering and materials qualifications.
- Project Associate II: Code 8710: MSc Chemistry/Chemical Science plus two years of relevant experience. Code 8711: MSc Chemistry/Materials Science plus two years of relevant experience, or ME/MTech in Material Science.
- Senior Project Associate: Code 8709: listed chemistry or chemical engineering qualifications with two or three years of relevant experience, depending on the route.
- Project Scientist II: Code 8712: PhD in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science plus five years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Salary & Job Location
- Salary / stipend: Monthly base pay plus 20% HRA: Project Associate I ₹25,000; Project Associate II ₹28,000 or ₹35,000 for the qualifying route under code 8710; Senior Project Associate ₹42,000; Project Scientist II ₹67,000.
- In-hand salary: Not stated in the official notice.
- Job location: CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar; project work may require travel and stays elsewhere.
