Eligibility & Qualification

• Young Professional-I: Graduate degree in Life Sciences or an allied basic-science discipline relevant to biomedical research from a recognised university or institution.
• Young Professional-II: Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, Software Engineering or Computer Graphics, with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience rule: Experience is counted only after completion of the minimum essential qualification.

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: Young Professional-I: Rs 35,000 per month; Young Professional-II: Rs 42,000 per month. No HRA is payable.
• Job location: ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi

Selection Process

1. Application screening against the prescribed eligibility criteria
2. Written test, skill test or assignment, if ICMR considers it necessary
3. Interview and document verification for shortlisted candidates
