Eligibility & Qualification

• Executive Engineer education: BE or BTech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university/board
• Executive Engineer retirement rank: Regular Executive Engineer (Civil), or equivalent or higher post
• Assistant Engineer education: Diploma, BE or BTech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university/board
• Assistant Engineer retirement rank: Regular Assistant Engineer (Civil), or equivalent or higher post
• Eligible former employers: Central/State Governments, UT administrations, State Electricity Institutes, PSUs, statutory/autonomous bodies, universities or recognised research institutions
• Experience: Considerable relevant experience and expertise. A minimum number of years is not stated in this notice.
• Contract nature: Initially one year, with possible yearly extensions based on need and satisfactory performance. No claim to regular appointment or future employment; the notice does not treat this as re-employment.

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: Monthly remuneration is pay drawn at retirement minus basic pension. No fixed rupee amount is given; no annual increment or percentage increase in DA during the contract. Transport allowance is fixed as applicable; other allowances and residential accommodation are not provided.

Selection Process

1. Submit the prescribed Annexure-A, CV and supporting documents.
2. The Experts Committee assesses applicants and recommends candidates.
3. Attend personal interaction/presentation if invited; produce the required original/provisional certificates.
4. Selected candidates receive an engagement letter and must join within its stated time.
