• Junior Technician: 27 years

• Internal candidates: Extension notice permits upper age up to 55 for Institute workers, including contractual staff, with at least 5 years' service.

Eligibility & Qualification

• Junior Superintendent: Bachelor's degree with at least 55%; 3 years' relevant experience at Level 5 or equivalent, or 8 years at Level 3 or above in the listed government/public bodies; computer-office proficiency.
• Junior Technician Group I: Science bachelor's degree with Chemistry or Physics and at least 55%; computer-office proficiency.
• Junior Technician Groups II, III and V: Relevant engineering degree with at least 55%, or 3-year relevant engineering diploma after 10+2 with at least 55% and 1 year's relevant experience; computer-office proficiency.
• Technician branches: Group II: Mechanical, Metallurgical, Ceramic or Materials Science. Group III: Electrical or Electronics. Group V: Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Junior Technician Group IV: Civil/Mining engineering degree or B.Arch. with at least 55%; alternatively Civil/Mining 3-year diploma after 10+2 with 55% and 1 year's relevant experience. Computer-office proficiency required.
• Junior Library Assistant: Library and Information Science bachelor's degree with 55%; or diploma with 55% plus any bachelor's degree; or 2-year integrated M.Lib. and Information Science with 55%.
• Assistant Engineer: Civil/Electrical degree with 5 years' relevant post-qualification experience, or diploma with 8 years; experience must be at Level 6 or above.
• Junior Engineer: Civil B.E./B.Tech. with 55% and 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience, or 3-year Civil diploma with 55% and 3 years' relevant experience.
• Junior Translation Officer: Hindi bachelor's degree plus 3 years' post-qualification English-Hindi translation experience in the organisations listed in the notice.

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: 7th CPC Pay Level 3 for Junior Technician and Junior Library Assistant; Level 6 for Junior Superintendent, Junior Engineer and Junior Translation Officer; Level 8 for Assistant Engineer.
