NTA has opened Session 1 registration for JEE Main 2027. Apply through the official portal and keep the confirmation page after successful fee payment.

- Applications open: 24 October 2026
- Regular application and fee deadline: 22 November 2026, 11:50 pm
- Late-fee application window: 23–26 November 2026; closes at 11:50 pm on 26 November
- Correction window: 27–29 November 2026; closes at 11:50 pm on 29 November
- Scheduled city slip: 30 December 2026
- Scheduled admit card: 13 January 2027
- Session 1 examination dates: 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027
Application Fee
- One paper, centres in India: General male Rs 1,000; General female Rs 800; EWS/OBC-NCL male Rs 900 and female Rs 800; SC/ST/PwD/PwBD and third gender Rs 500.
- Multiple papers, centres in India: General/EWS/OBC-NCL male Rs 2,000 and female Rs 1,600; SC/ST/PwD/PwBD and third gender Rs 1,000.
- Centres outside India: One paper: General male Rs 5,000, female Rs 4,000; EWS/OBC-NCL male Rs 4,500, female Rs 4,000; SC/ST/PwD/PwBD and third gender Rs 2,500. Multiple papers: General/EWS/OBC-NCL male Rs 10,000, female Rs 8,000; other listed categories Rs 5,000.
- Late fee and charges: Additional Rs 500 for applications during 23–26 November. Processing charges and GST apply. Fees are per session.
Age Limit
No age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2027; institute age rules may apply.
Who Can Apply / Eligibility
Eligible qualifying-examination years are 2025, 2026 and 2027 (appearing). Institute admission requirements are separate from eligibility to sit JEE Main; check the bulletin and the chosen institution.
Exam / Next Stage
- JEE Main examination and NTA scores; admission follows the relevant institution or counselling authority's rules. Paper 1 is for B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Planning.
