Eligibility & Qualification

• Civil: Full-time BE/BTech/BSc(Engg) in Civil Engineering; 65% marks, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. At least 3 years' relevant post-qualification executive experience in the notified civil/structural areas.
• Electrical: Full-time BE/BTech/BSc(Engg) in the exact listed electrical/electronics, instrumentation/control or power disciplines; 65%, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. At least 3 years' relevant switchyard, testing, transmission, transformer, design or engineering executive experience.
• Mechanical: Full-time BE/BTech/BSc(Engg) in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Production & Industrial or Power Engineering; 65%, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. At least 3 years' relevant power-generation supervision/execution experience; ME/MTech preferred.
• HR: Graduation plus at least a two-year full-time postgraduate management degree/diploma/programme with the notified HR/IR/personnel specialisation, MHROD or MBA-HR; 65%, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. At least 3 years' post-qualification HR/IR executive experience.
• Finance: Qualified CA/CMA with at least 1 year of post-qualification executive Finance/Accounts experience, excluding articleship
• Safety: The notified full-time engineering degree plus a recognised full-time Industrial Safety diploma, or a recognised Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety engineering degree; 65%, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. At least 3 years' relevant executive safety experience, counted from acquiring the engineering degree.
• CSR: The listed full-time postgraduate rural/development/social-sector qualification, or MSW, MBA or engineering degree; 65%, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. At least 3 years' relevant post-qualification executive experience in the notified CSR/survey/development work.
• Rajbhasha: Full-time master's degree meeting one of the notice's Hindi/English subject-and-medium combinations at degree level, plus at least 3 years' post-qualification terminology/translation experience in the listed government, statutory, public-sector, university or recognised research/education bodies
• Qualification and experience checks: Use the full post-specific table. All qualifications must be recognised/approved in India. Training counts where the post permits it; Finance articleship does not. Age, qualification and experience are assessed at application closing.
• Certificates / serving employees: Prescribed category, marks, experience and disability documents are required. OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must meet the specified 2026-27 conditions. Government/PSU candidates must follow the NOC/relieving requirements.

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: Indicative approximate CTC Rs 11 lakh per year, including fixed and variable components, HRA and stated benefits. Actual remuneration depends on experience, posting and appointment terms; this is not monthly take-home pay.
• In-hand salary: Not stated in the official advertisement
• Job location: NGEL corporate office, stations, projects, sites, clusters, JVs and subsidiaries across India; transferable at management discretion

Selection Process

1. Applications may be shortlisted by qualification, marks, experience and other notified criteria.
2. If CBT is used, it has 100 questions in two hours, subject and aptitude sections, and a one-fourth penalty for a wrong answer; shortlisted candidates proceed to interview.
3. With CBT: cumulative weights are CBT 70, experience 10 and interview 20. Without CBT: experience 30 and interview 70. The notice's separate category-wise qualifying thresholds apply.
4. The offer follows relative merit, with joining subject to the prescribed medical examination.
5. Check only notices for advertisement 04/26; a shortlist for advertisement 01/26 or a regular-roll post is a different recruitment.
