Age Limit

• Age cutoff date: 1 January 2027
• Normal age range: 18 to 30 years
• SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
• OBC-NCL relaxation: 3 years

Eligibility & Qualification

• Railway educational qualification: 12th with at least 50% for NTPC categories, or 10th plus completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI for applicable technician categories; stated exemptions apply
• Classical Dance: Degree, diploma or certificate in an Indian classical dance from a government-recognised institute
• Mridangam: Degree, diploma or certificate in Mridangam from a government-recognised institute

• Salary / stipend: Level 2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
• Job location: Southern Railway jurisdiction

2. Practical demonstration in the relevant cultural discipline
