SSC has issued the first-round tentative allocation for Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2025, covering 532 vacancies and 532 provisional recommendations. Physical identity verification is scheduled for 18 November 2026, with slips available from 13 November at 5:00 pm.

Eligibility & Qualification
- Current result scope: Candidates considered in the 2025 exam after submission of option-cum-preference; tentative allocation remains subject to verification
- Education: A recognised master's in Hindi with English at degree level, English with Hindi at degree level, or another subject with the specified Hindi/English medium and subject combinations. Read the full combination rules in the examination notice.
- Junior posts and CRPF SI: Recognised diploma/certificate in Hindi-English translation, or two years of qualifying Hindi-English translation work in government offices, including Government of India undertakings
- Senior posts: Recognised diploma/certificate in Hindi-English translation, or three years of qualifying Hindi-English translation work in government offices, including Government of India undertakings
- Qualification cutoff: 1 August 2025
- CRPF SI only: Prescribed physical and medical standards apply. The 27 July 2026 addendum provides for CRPF PST followed by DV, DME and RME for those qualifying PST.
Salary & Job Location
- Salary / stipend: Pay Level 6: Rs 35,400-1,12,400 for junior translator posts and CRPF SI (Hindi Translator); Pay Level 7: Rs 44,900-1,42,400 for senior translator posts.
- Job location: All India Service Liability: selected appointees may serve anywhere in India. Allotment is department/post-specific.
Selection Process
- Check the official provisional roll-number list and the post/category-specific cutoff tables in SSC's write-up.
- Download your identity-verification slip from 13 November 2026 at 5:00 pm onwards using SSC's designated login.
- Attend the physical identity-verification/sliding process on 18 November as directed by the slip. SSC says an absent candidate will not be considered for the final result.
- Follow the subsequent SSC result and department instructions. Individual marks will be uploaded after the final result.
How to check your result
- Open the official FRTA roll-number list and search your own roll number; this website does not collect candidate details.
- Read SSC's write-up for your post/category cutoff and provisional-allocation conditions; there is no single cutoff for every post.
- From 13 November 2026 at 5:00 pm, use the designated login on SSC's website to download your identity-verification slip. The slip is not yet released at this update.
- Follow the slip's reporting instructions and attend the physical process on 18 November 2026. Do not miss attendance; absence excludes a candidate from the final result.
- Check SSC for the final result and later individual marks. Do not treat tentative allocation as an appointment letter.
