Eligibility & Qualification

• Education: Graduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent in the specified branch, from a recognised institution of repute.
• Experience: 15 years in large public electricity utilities or the electricity regulatory sector.
• Regular service: Analogous post, or two years at Level 13A or equivalent, or three years at Level 13 or equivalent.
• Desirable: Postgraduate finance qualification or experience in tariff development, commercial issues and power purchase agreements.

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: Pay Matrix Level 13A (₹1,31,100–₹2,16,600) or Level 14 (₹1,44,200–₹2,18,200). Deputation pay and allowances follow state rules.
• Job location: UERC, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting by the commission, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
