UPSC CDS I 2026 Final Result: IMA, INA and AFA Lists

Age Limit

• IMA / INA: Unmarried men born from 2 January 2003 to 1 January 2008, inclusive
• AFA: 20-24 years as on 1 January 2027: born from 2 January 2003 to 1 January 2007, inclusive
• AFA commercial pilot licence concession: Valid and current DGCA (India) CPL holders: upper age 26, with birth dates from 2 January 2001 to 1 January 2007
• AFA marriage conditions: Candidates below 25 must be unmarried; marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates aged 25 or above have the accommodation restrictions stated in the notice.
• OTA - original cycle: Birth dates from 2 January 2002 to 1 January 2008. Men must be unmarried; the women's course also permits the specified unmarried, issueless widow or issueless divorcee categories who have not remarried. OTA is outside this final-result release.

Vacancies: 451 originally notified across five courses; the present result notice covers IMA 100, INA 26 and AFA 32 vacancies

Eligibility & Qualification

• IMA / OTA education: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent
• INA education: Degree in Engineering from a recognised university or institution
• AFA education: Recognised university degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, or Bachelor of Engineering
• Nationality: Indian citizens, subjects of Nepal and the specified persons of Indian origin may qualify under the original notice's conditions. Government eligibility-certificate rules and the Gorkha subject-of-Nepal exception apply.
• Result scope: IMA, INA and AFA only. Do not treat this release as the OTA final result or a marksheet.
• Medical and certificates: Medical results were not considered in these lists. Date-of-birth and educational verification is still under process; listing is not unconditional admission.

Salary & Job Location

• Salary / stipend: On commissioning, Lieutenant and equivalent entry ranks: Pay Level 10, Rs 56,100-1,77,500, with applicable allowances. The notice specifies Rs 56,100 monthly training stipend for IMA/OTA cadets and AFA flight cadets.
• Job location: Training at IMA Dehradun, INA Ezhimala and AFA Hyderabad; the original cycle also includes OTA Chennai

Selection Process

1. Check the IMA, INA or AFA list applicable to your course choice in the official result PDF.
2. Treat the list as provisional on date-of-birth and educational verification; satisfy the service's medical conditions separately.
3. Forward the original certificates and photocopies requested by the result notice to Army, Naval or Air Headquarters according to your first choice.
4. Inform the concerned headquarters directly if your address has changed, and await its official further instructions.
5. Check UPSC for marks after the OTA final result; this release does not supply a marksheet or an individual joining order.

How to check your result

1. Open the 2 November result PDF and confirm CDS Examination (I), 2026, not CDS (II).
2. Find your roll number in the correct academy list; some candidates appear in more than one list.
3. Read the first-page conditions carefully. Medical fitness and certificate verification remain separate requirements.
4. Send the requested certificates only to the official service headquarters identified by your first choice and instructions. Do not upload them on this website.
