Is there negative marking in UGC NET?

The June 2026 NTA bulletin states there is no negative marking.

How many questions come from each Paper I unit?

The official Paper I syllabus says five questions carrying two marks each are set from each module.

Is this a newly revised 2026 syllabus?

The UGC repository says the current syllabus is applicable from June 2019 onward; 2026 identifies the exam cycle.
