Exam Fee Debited but Form Pending? What to Check

A simple checklist for university exam-fee payment pending, missing receipts and form status. Check official support before making another payment.

General checklist, not a university notification. Your current course/session notice decides the actual fees, dates and eligibility.

Check the form and payment status

Sign in through your university's official website. Confirm the programme, exam cycle and application number. Read the displayed payment status and any waiting-period instructions.

A debit message from your bank is not the same as a university payment receipt. A successful payment is also not always the final form-submission step.

Keep the right proof

Save the application number, transaction/reference ID, date, amount and portal status. Download the receipt if it is available. Keep a screenshot of the error, with personal details hidden when asking for public help.

Do not share a card PIN, OTP, password or full bank statement. This website cannot confirm a transaction or issue a university refund.

Before paying again

Read the university's retry, reconciliation and refund instructions. Use its payment-status/recheck option if one is offered. Avoid a second payment until you know how the first one will be handled.

If the deadline is near, contact the official examination helpdesk and your college/centre with the reference numbers. Ask for written instructions. Do not assume a failed transaction automatically extends your deadline.

Confirm the final submission

After the portal updates, check that the fee is received, the right subjects are selected and the form is submitted. Save both the final form and the receipt.

For corrections or refunds, follow the university's policy and timelines. No unofficial agent can guarantee approval or an instant refund.
